Creative Pathways: Art Workshop for Seniors at Friendly House

Ignite your creative energies while making art in this enjoyable 6-week class. All the materials and encouragement you need will be provided. Come experiment with a wide range of media, including collage, watercolor, pastels, and fabric art. No skills needed, just a desire to (re)discover the fun, relaxation, and stimulation that creative activities offer. By working at your own pace, you can build confidence, share memories, explore feelings and connect with friends, both old and new.

When: Mondays, 12:30-2:30 pm, July 23 – August 27, 2012.
Cost: $40 for the 6-week workshop (scholarships available). Class limited to 12 people.

Cheri Epstein, ATR-BC is a Board-Certified Art Therapist and creativity coach. For 20 years she has helped kids, teens and adults express themselves, enhance well-being, and find joy by making art. She has a private art therapy practice in Multnomah Village.

Paula Lowden completed a Masterʼs program in counseling art therapy, focusing her study on art based life review therapy in a retirement community. She now owns Way Will Open Therapies, a counseling practice utilizing the art process for healing.
