Chances are you’ve already heard the music of Acoustic Guitar Summit – which has been featured in films, TV, advertising, and on NPR. Doug Smith, Mark Hanson, and Terry Robb, three Grammy award-winning musicians, make up this acoustic guitar supergroup. Their live performances feature dazzling arrangements and blistering playing, with renditions of classic guitar standards and original works that showcase a range of styles from blues and jazz to folk and fingerpicking.
The trio’s members have amassed a wealth of national and regional honors both for their solo musicianship and collaborative efforts. Doug Smith and Mark Hanson received 2005 Grammys for their work on Henry Mancini’s Pink Guitar CD, while Terry Robb contributed to a number of Grammy and Emmy award-winning projects, including producing a song for the Robert Redford blockbuster The Horse Whisperer.

Terry Robb has recorded over a dozen blues albums, and his playing has earned him the title of top acoustic blues guitarist in the Pacific Northwest as well as a national reputation. He has played on and produced a half dozen John Fahey CDs, toured with Steve Miller. He recently formed his own label, PsychaDelta Records.
Mark Hanson is internationally known for his solo recordings, some of which can be heard on numerous TV and radio programs, including American Idol and Martha Stewart Living. He recently released two new solo CDs featuring jazz standards and love songs. Additionally, his guitar instruction manuals and DVDs are renowned, with four being named to the Top 100 acoustic music publications by Acoustic Guitar magazine.
Doug Smith has recorded numerous CDs as a solo artist, and works with Mannheim Steamroller and composer Mark Mancina of Lion King fame. Doug’s playing featured prominently on the soundtrack of the 2007 film August Rush, in which he also appeared. His recordings are heard regularly on syndicated radio and TV.
