Spring is finally here. The nice warmer weather has the beautiful flowers blossoming. Plants and gardens are growing. And that is not the only thing…destruction and defacing of property, through tagging and graffiti in our neighborhood, are growing faster than healthy tomato starts. The more visible graffiti there is, the more will follow.

We have way too nice of a neighborhood to allow this, and almost everyone agrees – business owners who spend tons of time and money cleaning and repainting; individual property owners; and condo owners, whose HOA dues ends up paying to clean the same things off the same walls.

Please join us for the Goose Hollow Graffiti Abatement Kick-off Event! Food provided for event participants. Join your friends and neighbors as we clean, paint and restore areas that have been defaced. This event is sponsored by Neighbors West-Northwest and the Office of Neighborhood Involvement.

At this event, we will also invite neighbors and residents to “adopt a block” – to help to watch, patrol and keep the neighborhood clean. We live in one of the most beautiful spots in the city. Let’s partner together and keep it that way.
