| Date: Thursday, May 10, 2012 Time: 7:00 p.m. Reception & Silent auction 7:45 p.m. Theater seating Place: CoHo Theater, 2257 NW Raleigh Ticket Price: Adult $25; Seniors, students & educators $15 CoHo Productions says this stage adaptation of Charles Dickens’ Hard Times shows “recession-era USA can look surprisingly like Victorian England. This social satire pits fact against fancy proving that resourceful people can get through everything, including the worst of times. With Dickensian whimsy Hard Times asks us to seek the best of times and the best in all of us.” This lively play brings Dickensian language to the stage performed by only a cast of four! Note, while the play’s content is safe for kids, it is not likely of interest to young children. Join neighbors, NWNW staff, and fellow volunteers for an evening out at the theater and benefit a good cause! The show will be preceded by a reception, including light snacks, beer, and wine, and a silent auction at 7 p.m. Silent auction items include offerings from the Dragonfly Coffee House, HHClick, Lan Su Chinese Garden, PHLUSH, Portland Children’s Museum, and the Portland Timbers. Seating for the performance will be at 7:45 p.m. Join us for a celebration (and tell your neighbor too)! Purchase Tickets Click here to purchase tickets online (be sure to choose the May 10th date).
