Lets Prepare Together: An Emergency Planning Workshop

Let’s Prepare Together is a hands-on workshop that will provide practical information to increase personal safety, to reduce risk, and to organize neighbors before, during and after an emergency or disaster.  It will also connect residents with city and county agencies, non-profit institutions, and community businesses who are working on pieces of the preparedness puzzle. Presenters from the Red Cross, City of Portland, and Multnomah County will share easy and practical ways to help you get prepared. The workshop is Wednesday, April 18, 5:30-8:00pm, at the Northwest Neighborhood Cultural Center, 1819 NW Everett, Looking Glass Room (entrance on NW 18th) and will include speakers,  exhibitors,  snacks,  door prizes , and children’s activities.

Organized by Northwest District Association and Neighbors West-Northwest, this project received financial support from the Portland Bureau of Emergency Management, Northwest Neighborhood Cultural Center, City of Portland Office of Neighborhood Involvement and the Northwest Children’s Theater and School.
