Invasive plants plaguing your property? West Multnomah Soil & Water Conservation District, in partnership with Skyline Ridge Neighbors, is holding an educational gathering and demo at the home of Miles & Libby Merwin. See a variety of methods to control noxious weeds, including mechanical devices and the safe and appropriate use of herbicides. The Merwin property offers a unique opportunity to see sites where weeds have been controlled next to sites where they haven’t. You’ll hear from the Merwins and West Multnomah SWCD’s Forest Conservationist, Michael Ahr, as well as a certified pesticide applicator.
